Nick King left the Redskins in 1985 during the recording of the Bring It Down single. The reports at the time said that Nick was unhappy that the record label had hired a percussionist for the session. Then Style Council drummer Steve White was drafted in to complete the recording session. There's more about Nick leaving the band here - ClickyDoes anyone know what Nick King (Cheel) is up to these days?

The next question is why was a replacement drummer brought in? At the time Chris told me that Nick had become unreliable due to a dalience with heroin.
