i've just finished reading the japanese version of the "nineteen eighty-four" by george orwell. it was not easy to understand in detail but was interesting roughly. i'll try its original english version soon. chris dean or the redskins mentioned something about this novel before?

The Redskins played a gig with Billy Bragg under the banner "Big Brother Is Watching You" at the ICA in London in January 1984. The gig was filmed for the video Beating The Blues. There's a photo of the gig here - www.geocities.com/neither_washington_nor_moscow/icaphoto1.jpg1984 was made into a film which I still haven't seen yet. I'll have to see if it's out on dvd.

I've just had a look on amazon and 1984 came out on dvd 2 years ago. In the reviews for it someone says that there was a series made of 1984 staring Peter Cushing which they say was better than the film version.
