I've recently acquired a Redskins 7" KOKO promo that's not mentioned in the site discography. The sleeve is the same as the commercially available release, other than being paper and non-glossy, and with a sticker on the back that says "Anglo Irish Plugging Company", and gives a couple of names and a phone number. Although the sleeve states that RSTB is the b-side, the actual b-side on the record is a DJ edit of KOKO that runs at 3.42 instead of the a-side's time of 3.59. The labels are plastic injection molded, rather than paper ones that some releases of this single have. The catalogue number is FDJ1. Seen it before anyone?

Nice find! I've never seen a a copy before just the DJ 12" version. Could you do me a scan of the single? As I'd like to include it in the discography.
I do need to update the discography as the other week I picked up a UK paper label of 'Bring It Down' 7" when I had only ever seen the plastic labels before.

Attached. I must keep an eye open for that paper label "Bring It Down" too. I've never seen it before, but then again I've never been looking for it. Attachments:

Cheers for that, I'll download the pics when I'm back at home later this week. Looking at the sleeve I'd say that it's just the standard UK issue with an Anglo Irish plugging company sticker on and the Garry mentioned will be Garry Blackburn. The single is something else though. Never seen it before and I thought I had just about every Redskins release. Looking at the catalogue number I'd say it was a UK DJ issue but the spelling on the single (Keeping with the "g") and the fact the band are listed as THE Redskins would suggest that it's not a UK issue. The Australian issue of 'Keep On Keepin' On' uses the same spelling and band name (see pic below). Can I ask where you picked the single up from?

I asked Redskins bassist Martin about the single and he has a copy also. Seems it is a UK release that was sent out to radio stations.
I'm guessing that the radio edit of Keep On Keepin' On doesn't include any swearing?

I haven't actually got around to listening to it, but I will and let you know. I got it off eBay, a newly listed Buy Now at 4.99 UK sterling. I got lucky I guess.
