I always thought that the 10 inch Russian import of It Can Be Done was just an English pressing which was made to look like an import maybe to try and sell a few more copies. The 10 inch came in a plain white sleeve with a red sticker on the left hand side with the track listing in English & Russian. The sleeve was also numbered and I think the single was limited to 5000 copies. The 4 tracks on the disc are the same as the ones on 12 inch single.

It's still pretty easy to pick up as it comes up for sale on ebay every now and then. Netsounds & gemm also have a few copies listed for between £6-£8.

It is English as you say, Bazza. Just a gimmick really. Was surprised at the time they did it because it reeked less of international socialism and more of a right winger's cliched view of what being a lefty was all about ("Fuck off to Russia" was/is a common insult). Maybe it was just a joke or maybe it was the label's idea.

Probably the labels idea. I seem to remember that the Redskins didn't really want to release that song as a single.
