The Redskins are listed as being on the BBC 6 Music show 'Nemone's Dream Ticket' between 22:00 - 01:00 this Wednesday (15th Feb) Usually they play something from the archives so we might get a couple of Session or Live tracks..fingers crossed.
I emailed 6 Music to find out what Redskins stuff they are going to play. Nemone has just read my email out on air and said that they will be playing a few tracks from the Redskins first Peel Session from 1982.
Just listened to the show and they played 3 tracks from the Redskins first Peel Session from 1982. During the show Nemone said they would have a look for the Redskins 1983 Peel Session and broadcast it at a later date.

Brings back a lump to the throat every time I hear the old classics. Great days in some ways - the music (obviously) but depressing to think of the false hope both for the miners and changing the world. Still, they say revolutions don't happen overnight... Keep on keeping on!
Nemone did promise to play some more Redskins stuff at a later date. You should email her and ask for the Redskins 1983 Peel session or maybe the Redskins Town & Country Club gig which Radio 1 originally broadcast in 1986.
