Here are a few mp3s from The Lost & Found debut album which has just been released by Status Recordings (ST020). I Wanna BelieveLook Me In The EyeIt Calls My NameFlashes“The Lost & Found play sunshine pop that’s not afraid to be moody and reflective (think the Velvet Underground’s “Loaded”) – and the Beatle-esque melodies seethe with the same brash delivery as the Jam. The beauty comes from the conflict between the buoyant, self-assured music and Lay’s questioning, uncertain lyrics. Songwriter Aimee Lay’s vocals are belted with low-key passion and backwards-glancing sass…it’s clear that if Lay’s heart is on the line, Lisa Dyer and Erik Herrera are keeping the pulse. Dyer’s Bruce Foxton-influenced bass playing underscores the entire affair with an unwavering confidence and Herrera’s timing is perfect, meticulously driving Lay’s classic jangle pop. She seems to be working out the complexities of life while standing behind a microphone, guitar in hand.”<br> - Charles Spano (Punk Planet Magazine, CMJ ) For more information on The Lost & Found check out their website - www.thelostandfoundmusic.com

He's a dub version of Nian's Dance by Prince Fatty. I've heard that the band will be releasing an album soon. Nina's Dance (dub)

Great to see that again Bazza. Any idea where that performance was? It's clearly not a Redskins gig as the audience are motionless. Is it a TV show?

Great to see that again Bazza. Any idea where that performance was? It's clearly not a Redskins gig as the audience are motionless. Is it a TV show? It's from the Redskins performance on the music show The Tube from 1984. The Redskins play 2 songs - Hold On & Keep On Keepin' On. During the intro to Keep On Keepin' On they introduced a Durham miner (Norman Strike) who gave a speech about the miners strike. Only no one could hear him as his microphone had been turned off. The Che Men got Norman Strike to re-record his Tube speach last year and it is included on the Redskins tribute album "Reds Strike The Blues". There's some more information on Norman Strike here - www.geocities.com/neither_washington_nor_moscow/normanstrike.html
