"One Man& His Bog" is a book celebrating 20 years of the Adelphi Club in Hull. Part of the infamous 'toilet' tour since the mid-80's, the club is one of the last surviving underground live music venues in the country. The book is limited to just 2000 copies and also comes with 2 CD's featuring 39 rare/unreleased tracks by the likes of The Housemartins - "All Men Are The Same", "When Will I Be Released?" and "Swansea", Attila The Stockbroker - "Libyan Students From Hell" (Live), 3 Action - "I Get Around", The La's - "Looking Glass" (Demo) & "Timeless Melody" (Live) and Pink Noise - "Thin End Of The Wedge". I really enjoyed the Pink Noise track. In the book the Adelphi Club's owner Paul Jackson describes the band as Hull's answer to The Jam, the Redskins and The Neurotics. Does anyone know anything else about Pink Noise? And did they release any other records? If anyone would like to order a copy of the book then click on the following link www.theadelphi.com/reviews.htm
