I'm looking for a copy of Travelling Man by The Techniques on 7 inch. I'm not too bothered if it's an original press or reissue just as long as the vinyl is in good condition. Does anyone have a copy for sale or know where I might be able to get a copy from?

bazza, do you know this store? www.gemm.com/c/index.cgi?the man who run that record store wrote a book with a japanese translator which is called "200 CD British Rock". I thought he must be a carbon copy of Bazza you yourself.

I use gemm now and again. But I find that netsounds is better as a lot of the time the sellers on gemm don't have the records in stock. So you end up waiting for a few weeks only to be told that they can't get hold of the record you ordered.

I managed to pick up a 12 inch single of Travelling Man on ebay a few months back. But it has been remixed (even though the single states it's the original version) and it isn't as good as the original.

I've just ordered a copy of Travelling Man by The Techniques from www.reggae.co.uk as it's just been repressed by Studio One. It's a great rocksteady tune. For those of you who haven't heard the song it's on the Boss Sounds Jukebox along with a load more great ska & soul songs.
