The Redskins live CD which came out on the Dojo label back in 1994 is getting reissued by Mad Butcher Records (Cat No. MBR 093). The full track listing for this CD is - 1. Lean on me 2. Reds strike the blues 3. Hold on 4. Unionise 5. Kick over the statues 6. Ninenty nine and a half won´t do 7. Take no heroes 8. Let´s make it work 9. Keep on keepin´on<br>10. It can be done 11. Turnin´loose 12. Plateful of hateful 13. Bring it down 14. Don´t talk to me about whether 15. The power is yours One thing I have noticed about the new artwork is that it says it was recorded at the Central London Poly during the Kick Over Apartheid Tour. But I have a bootleg of that gig and the track listing is different. As far as I know the live CD was recorded at various venues during 1985 & 1986 rather than the one gig.

I found out off the redskins bassist Martin Hewes that most of the tracks on the live CD are from the Central London Poly gig during the Kick Over Apartheid Tour. As these were recorded on a mobile studio and are the best recordings of the band.
It's a shame that they couldn't issue the full London Poly gig as Jerry Dammers (The Specials), Billy Bragg and Alexi Sayle and played on a few songs with the Redskins which are great. But Dojo Records who first released the live album never returned the master tape of this gig.

The live CD reissue should be out in about 2 weeks time as the master is getting sent to the factory today.
