This Is England - Skinhead Film

Shane Meadows has just finished shooting a film called This Is England which is about skinheads & the national front and is set in the early 80s. The film is out sometime in 2006. No doubt skinheads will all be portrayed as racist nutters in the film but at least the soundtrack won't have any of the blood & honour type bands on it.

This is what Shane Meadows said about the soundtrack on his website -

Although there are no certanties as yet, the soundtrack looks like being a mix of trojan reggae bands - Toots and the Maytals, Symarip, Desmond Dekker etc and Oi! bands like - The Business, Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects etc. None of the RAC bands like Skrewdriver will be used.
