What should I do with the Redskins vinyl I have. While it's great to keep for posterity I no longer have a way to play it and I get the feeling someone elese would enjoy having the vinyl more than me. Or is it worth anything on ebay? I have:
Neither Washington Album Bring it Down 12" 99 and a half 12" Lean on me 12" They Shall Not Pass (CNT Album with Redskins and others) Dig This A tribute to The Great Strike Album ( no Redskins but some cracking tracks)
Cheers

I have hung onto my old vinyl and not regretted it. You never know when the turntable will come back, I have been jerry rigging one over the last year, love the sound of it far more than mp3's, CD's etc.
Ebay is a bit tricky as stuff will sell for massive prices one month, then nothing the next.
Another option is to get the vinyl transferred to CD, in which case you have the best of both worlds.
Or...you could sell it to me ;D

Another option is to get the vinyl transferred to CD, That's what I would do. Especially as the Redskins album has a hidden track (The Crack) that wasn't included on the CD release.

Cheers. After writing the post I went out and bought an MP3 turntable and have really enjoyed having the tracks on my iPod.

Little of the vinyl goes for any real money on eBay. Lev Bronstein's worth a few bob and Lean on Me if you're lucky. Not a lot for the rest. Always amazes me considering how brilliant all the records are.

Always amazes me considering how brilliant all the records are. Yep, 'Lev Bronstein' does go for a bit and I have seen some sellers asking £50 for the Redskins debut single. But you can sometimes get lucky as I only paid £5 for mine a few year back. All the other singles can be picked up for around £3 to £4. The only other Redskins record that goes for a few bob is the 'Rarities' bootleg album.
