Thanks for the links Toshi. I see what you mean about them sounding like The Clash.
Is there much of a Mod scene in Japan these days? I remember back in the mid 90s there was a Japanese record label called Flavor who released a lot of Mod related CDs including 2 compilations of bands on the Detour Mod label.

Yeah, there sounds like much of a mod scene in tokyo these days. Last year, they tried every possible means to persuade us to buy these things under the pretext of the 25th anniversary of the Japanese Mod event called "MODS MAYDAY" since 1981. However, as Yamashita of a Japanese band called Sandiest described them as "a competitive show for puppies", I'm not so much interested in them. I believe they're just a weakness for big-name brands like Fred Perry, Lonsdale or Merc.

Ghost Town - The Dead 60sAlso worth looking out for is The Grooveblaster's remix of Ghost Town. However, I no longer have the song saved on my pc and I think the mp3 has been taken down from The Grooveblaster's website.

Bazza, Who is this by? That's a load of kids not the Dead 60's!!! It's some choir. I've head that the mother of one of The Kaiser Chiefs sings on it.
