"The Oppressed Japan Tour" was canceled for some reason. Thanks for your supports. However, UWS cowardly did a midnight vanishing act, leaving the problem that they were having a cozy relationship with those nazi boneheads like The Hawks unsolved. There is no hope for the future of the whole Japanese scene. For Your Info - This is a CD sleeve by Strong Style and The Hawks who are the top Nazi skinhead bands in Japan. They used such a Nazi Iron Eagle on its sleeve:

Why did The Oppressed cancel? While you're on here Toshi could you do me a big favour? Back in the 90s I used to do a Mod fanzine called All Our Yesterdays which ran for 7 issues. Anyway, a few years ago I bought a Japanese Mod compliation album called Hi Numbers! and there is a bit about my fanzine in the sleeve notes. But since it's in Japanese I can't understand it. Could you translate it for me? Thanks.

maybe it's because of the scandal i wrote on: freehost04.websamba.com/dollq/english/dokyuso_oi_recession.htmlWhen someone asked "How was the 1995's musical scene in the UK?", probably almost all the people would describe it with the keyword "Mods". According to Marc Barret who's publishing a mod fanzine (aka Modzine) called "All Our Yesterdays", UK's mod revival these days is made by the following three factors. The first factor is a Blur's great hit of "Parklife". The second is a reappraisal of Paul Weler (aka Modfather). And the third is an existence of Detour Records which this CD featured...sorry, i can't translate it all. just pains, no gains. it's yours at a price.
